Bill Johnson Appointed to RCSC Board of Directors The Recreation Centers of Sun City, Inc. Board of Directors announced at a board meeting on Thursday, February 22, that Bill Johnson had been appointed to the RCSC Board. Mr. Johnson’s appointment fills the vacancy created when Director Jean Buck resigned her position in January. Mr. Johnson’s term will end at the close of 2007, at which point he can choose to run for election to the 2008 Board. Mr. Johnson, a Minnesota native, moved to Sun City in 1999 and quickly became an active part of the community. He has served on RCSC’s Club Organization Committee for the past two years and was also a member of the Ad Hoc Food Services Committee. Mr. Johnson is also a very active member of the Computer Club of Sun City, having served as the club’s president for five years. “My goal is to make sure we live up to the goal, ‘To be the #1 leader in the retirement and recreation industry.’ We need to make sure we keep Sun City a vital and active adult community in the future,” Mr. Johnson said in his application to the Board.
