Recreation Centers of Sun City, Inc. Board of
Directors member Dave Rutledge resigned his position as Director
effective December 31, 2007. Mr. Rutledge has resigned in order to spend
more time with his family.
Mr. Rutledge was first appointed to the Board to fill a vacancy in
February 2006. He was then elected to a three-year term in December of
that year.
“The RCSC Board thanks Dave for his service and commitment to serving
Sun City,” said RCSC Board President Denny Nichols. “He provided very
valuable experience and insight to the Board, and we wish him all the
best.”
The Board is currently accepting applications to fill the vacancy on the
Board left by Mr. Rutledge’s resignation. In order to be considered for
appointment to the Board, a candidate must be at least 55 years of age,
a Sun City property owner in good standing and a Sun City resident for a
minimum of two years prior to December 1, 2007. In addition, a candidate
must reside in Sun City and be available at least 10 months of the year.
He or she must also meet the qualifications to hold an Arizona liquor
license.
