The Recreation Centers of Sun City, Inc. (RCSC), the Sun City Visitors
Center, and the Sun City Home Owners Association (SCHOA) will host a
Member Orientation on Wednesday, February 6, for new and current
residents of Sun City. The orientation will be held at Sundial
Auditorium, located in the Sundial Recreation Center at 14801 N. 103rd
Ave (at Boswell Blvd) in Sun City. There will be two sessions at the
event: one beginning at 9 a.m. and another beginning at 7 p.m.
Refreshments will be served, and members may attend either session.
The
Member Orientation is designed to educate and inform residents about all
the activities and amenities available to them as a resident of Sun
City. Speakers will include Denny Nichols of the RCSC Board of
Directors, Paul Herrmann of the Visitors Center and Bob Tomich of the
Sun City Home Owners Association. Representatives from several local
organizations, including Sun City PRIDES, Sun City Sheriff’s Posse, the
Sun City Library, Sun City Fire Department and Boswell Hospital
Volunteers will have informational booths and be available to answer
questions. RCSC will also have booths representing the seven recreation
centers, the Board of Directors, the Clubs and Activities Office, Human
Resources and the golf and bowling divisions. Many of RCSC’s over 130
chartered clubs will also have representatives on hand to offer
information about their activities and sign up new members.
