Golfers who can stand the heat will save a few dollars at Recreation
Centers of Sun City, Inc. golf courses when RCSC begins charging its
twilight golf rates at 10:30 a.m. July 1. The change means RCSC
cardholders will pay $12 for 18 holes on an RCSC regulation course
instead of the standard summer rate of $15.50. On executive courses,
the twilight rate is $10, which is a savings of $3.50 from the
standard summer executive rate of $13.50.
“By pushing up the time for twilight golf, we hope to get more
golfers out on the courses during the hotter times of the day,” said
John Snyder, RCSC Director of Golf and Grounds. Prior to July 1,
twilight rates were charged for golf rounds after 2:30 p.m.
Also, starting July 1, the Pro Shop at Quail Run Golf Course will
switch to its summer hours, which are 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. They will be
in effect through August 31.
