Sundial Building Permit Approved by Maricopa
County
The Recreation
Centers of Sun City, Inc., is pleased to announce that Maricopa County
has approved the corporation’s building permit for the reconstruction of
the Sundial Recreation Center.
RCSC originally filed a building
permit request with the county and submitted building plans for approval
in mid-February. The county then twice returned the plans with required
changes. The project architects made all the required corrections and
RCSC learned on July 9 that the permit had been approved.
RCSC is currently finalizing the
construction contract with the general contractor for the project, the
Weitz Company. RCSC and Weitz are also working with the subcontractors
for the project to determine the final project schedule. According to
RCSC Assistant General Manager Jim Wellman, construction should start
within a month.
