To
foster a rewarding social atmosphere, RCSC allows
cardholders the opportunity to form clubs to pursue
special interests or practice unique talents. RCSC
has chartered more than 120 clubs representing a
variety of pastimes and activities, and every club
is open to RCSC cardholders.
Clubs have their own
elected officers and monitors. Some clubs have
designated club rooms and equipment. Others share
space and meet on a regular basis. Participation in
clubs require that individuals are RCSC cardholders
in good standing, as well as payment of club
membership dues to meet operating expenses. Some
clubs charge additional fees for activities and
classes.
For safety reasons,
a minimum of two club members must be present at all
times. Club monitors must also be present whenever a
craft club room is open. Special instructions and
safety equipment may be required in the operation of
some club equipment.
RCSC cardholders may
visit a club for up to three times before having to
join.
